Shannon Bell is the author of Reading, Writing and Rewriting the
Prostitute Body (Indiana University Press, 1994) and WHORE CARNivAL
(Autonomedia, 1995). Her most recent work is a collaborative book,
Bad Attitude/s On Trial: Pornography, Feminism, and the Butler
Decision (University of Toronto Press, 1997).
Dr. Bell's work specifically on female orgasm and ejaculation
includes: "Feminist Ejaculations," The Hysterical Male, ed. Arthur &
Marilouise Kroker (St. Martin's Press, 1991), "Now the Details;
Female Ejaculation," CBC Radio, Ideas Series, February 1995, and two
films-Nice Girls Don't Do It (1991) and How To Female Ejaculate
(1994).
Come As You Are presents a monthly series of
in-store educational workshops. They bring together sex educators
from across Canada and the US and offer a unique collection of
educational events. All workshops take place in their Toronto store,
which is a fully accessible environment (with an accessible
washroom).
Pre-registration is required for all workshops. Sliding scale is
often available. They have a trans-inclusive policy for all our
workshops including "women only" workshops and "men only" workshops.
