Despite the hype surrounding female ejaculation, the reality is that a large number of women do not and will not be able to ejaculate.

Studies have shown that an estimated 40% of all women ejaculate.  One study, by Dr. F. Cabello Santamarķa placed the number higher, roughly 70%, but he concluded that the additional 30% of these women are either not aware that they ejaculate because they release a very small amount of fluid, or that they suffer from retrograde ejaculation.  Retrograde ejaculation is a condition where the ejaculate travels in reverse direction in the urethra and instead of exiting the body, it enters the bladder.

This hypothesis was supported by the increased presence of PSA in post orgasm urine samples.

The estimates therefore, are represented in the chart below:

In order to understand why there is this variance among women we need to understand the physical mechanics of how the human body is created.

In the early stages of embryonic life all embryos have the same basic 'sex organ' foundation.  The glans of the penis in the male or clitoris in the female.  The prostate in the male or g-spot (urethral sponge / female prostate) in the female.

The size and condition of the glands vary from person to person.  Some women will have a large and easily distinguishable g-spot, others will have a somewhat smaller area, more difficult to locate.  This is one factor which plays a part in whether or not a female can ejaculate.

    The second factor is hormonal.

As we develop, either male or female, our bodies produce hormones which control many of our functions.  Hormones play an important role in sexual function and female ejaculation is no exception.

It is believed that the size of the woman's' glands and her hormone level will be determining factors in whether or not a female will be able to ejaculate, even with training.

For this reason, I would strongly advise women not to place too much importance on ejaculation.  If you can do it, enjoy.  If you can't, don't feel like you have somehow failed.  There was once a day when many of us battled feelings of 'inadequacy' because we couldn't have multiple orgasms.  This situation is no different.

Remember, the quality of your sex life will not be dictated by whether or not you ejaculate but by the quality of sex.
