  • SquirtingTruth: Female Ejaculation in Midwifery

During my research into female ejaculation I came across one particular site which raised my awareness of an issue involving FE I hadn't even considered.  This is extremely surprising to me since my oldest daughter is currently training to become a midwife.

The site is called "Gentle Birth" and is run by Ronnie Falcao, LM MS, a homebirth midwife in Mountain View, CA.  You can visit the site by clicking on the link.

Here is an excerpt from the site with regard to female ejaculation:

The issue of female ejaculation is of significance in midwifery for two major reasons: 1) Many women will think their waters have broken because they have a small release of non-urine fluids late in pregnancy; this is often simply a form of female ejaculation caused by ripening female tissues and hormones as labor approaches.  2) The primary adaptive value of the tissues involved in female ejaculation are to provide a surge of pain relief just as the baby's head is about to be born.

As this demonstrates, female ejaculation plays an important role in midwifery.  Sadly though, this role isn't been acknowledged.  This site was the only one I was able to find dealing with this issue.

Additionally, the author of the site attempted to get more information and ignorance about FE made that impossible.

This is yet another example of the importance of public awareness and education.

    NOTE

I would love to be able to post something from a midwife addressing this issue directly for any visitors who may require information and not have it readily available.  If you would like to help, please contact me.
